Service Policy & Agreement
Though Charmed Elegance will work with event professionals/vendors that Clients prefer for various aspects of their Handfasting, Clients will not hold Charmed Elegance liable for any errors, acts, or omissions on the part of the event professionals/vendors or their parties. In the event the Client is forced to change the date of the Handfasting, every effort will be made by Charmed Elegance to transfer location reservations and sub-contractors to support the new date. The Client agrees that in the event of a date change any expenses, including but not limited to deposits and fees that are non-refundable and non-transferable, are the sole responsibility of the Client. There may also be additional charges for any further arrangements to support the new date. The Client further understands that last minute changes can impact the quality of the event and that Charmed Elegance is not responsible for these compromises in quality.
All payments are non-refundable. This includes any cancellations. In the event of Handfasting cancellation, the Client must provide Charmed Elegance with a written notice of cancellation within one (1) week. The client is responsible to obtain all necessary permits from their town,
county, or state for the use of any public venues, such as parks, gardens, forests, and the like.
Charmed Elegance's failure to perform any of its responsibilities and/or obligations as a result of acts of Nature (also known as acts of God), or the Client's Handfasting cancellation as a result of acts of Nature, as stated below, shall not be deemed a breach of agreement between Charmed Elegance and its Client.
Acts of Nature (acts of God):
*Natural disasters (earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, etc.)
*Conditions including but not limited to wars, riots, strikes, fires, governmental restrictions, power failures, or other major upheaval
*Performance failures of parties outside the control of Charmed Elegance, such as disruptions in telephone service attributed to the telephone company or labor actions by employees of a common carrier. Dates by which performance obligations are scheduled to be met will be extended by Charmed Elegance for a period of time equal to the time lost due to any delay so caused.
